Oakdale Public School is seeking a highly skilled and motivated educator to serve as our Math Interventionist (Grades 2–5) and Gifted Coordinator. This unique dual-role position supports student growth at both ends of the academic spectrum—providing targeted math intervention for students needing additional support while also coordinating and strengthening our gifted and talented programming.
This position is ideal for an educator who is data-driven, organized, collaborative, and passionate about maximizing student potential.
Math Intervention (Grades 2–5):
Provide targeted small-group and/or individualized math intervention
Use data to identify student needs and monitor progress
Collaborate with classroom teachers to align instruction and intervention
Support MTSS processes and documentation
Implement research-based intervention strategies
Gifted & Talented Coordination (Grades 3-8):
Oversee identification and placement processes
Coordinate gifted services and programming
Ensure compliance with state requirements
Communicate with families regarding services and programming
Support teachers with differentiation strategies for advanced learners
Required:
Valid Oklahoma Elementary Teaching Certification
Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education
Oklahoma Gifted Certification (OGES)
Experience with intervention frameworks and progress monitoring
Strong understanding of differentiation and enrichment practices
Ability to analyze and interpret student achievement data
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Ability to build collaborative relationships with teachers and families
Commitment to academic excellence and equitable student support
Passion for supporting both struggling and advanced learners
